“My Sister’s Keeper” by Jodi Picoult

Great book.  A real thinker.  I didn’t watch the movie because I heard that if you read the book, that you will find the movie to be terrible.  The story centers around a family in crisis.  One daughter has had cancer since the age of 2, and the other daughter was genetically conceived to be able to donate stem cells to her sister.  There is a courtroom battle, dysfunctional family meals, and life-and-death situations.  Everything to make a great book, but beware, it can be a tear-jerker at times.

YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF:  You need a good cry.

Four and a half out stars of five.

  2. Why’d you give it 4 1/2 stars?
